I pay for extra storage for Google drive,and I own a Pixel 3 phone, but even now, Google still sends ads to my Gmail, and I have to delete them individually.
And it is not apparent to me how to stop them.
It is not good enough.
When you try and find their contact details to complain, they are nowhere to be found.
A bit like the company and its Tax avoidance.

You cannot opt out of receiving ads in Gmail.
You can opt out of personalized adverts, which means Google won't use additional information to personalize those ads on Google search and Gmail.
If you don't want to see Google-served ads use an ad blocker orhttps://gmelius.comor a mail client or basic html or gmails paid version called G Suite or turn off the tab you see them in.
